Seth W. Scott, Founder / CEO
Mr. Scott has been in the real estate industry for the past 25 years and has served in numerous capacities and sometimes simultaneous as principal and manager of real estate projects.
From 1979 to 1982, Mr. Scott held various positions in the construction industry ultimately serving as a Senior Project Manager for Woolworth Construction of Los Altos, Ca.
In 1983, Mr. Scott pursued his desire to enter the real estate sales industry. While working in the residential real estate sector, he emerged as the Top Producer for twenty-five of the thirty months that he spent in residential sales. For three consecutive quarters he was the Top Listing and Selling Agent for Red Carpet Northern California, a competition held among eleven hundred agents.
In 1986, Mr. Scott pursued a career in commercial real estate within the Sacramento office of Parker Commercial. For the next two years he was the Top Producing Agent with sales exceeding sixty million dollars annually.
In 1988, Mr. Scott and two partners acquired the ownership of the Sacramento office of Parker Commercial Brokerage. The new company diversified its operation to incorporate land development projects. Mr. Scott was responsible for the company’s syndication department and ultimately became the managing partner. Under his direction the company syndicated and developed several hundred thousand square feet of retail shopping centers and various residential properties, totaling more than a thousand units.
In 1990, he left Parker Stevenson and continued to syndicate and develop properties including various residential subdivisions in the City and County of Sacramento and El Dorado County
In 1996 Mr. Scott again served in a dual capacity as a partner in the lobbying firm The Rutland Group of San Francisco, California and as president of the firm’s real estate division. Mr. Scott’s thorough understanding of the governmental process very quickly positioned the firm as a leader in the real estate and entitlement sector.
In 2004, Mr. Scott returned to Sacramento, eventually founding Urban 44 Management, a full service real estate and development company, focusing on large master-planned communities and urban infill mixed-use projects. From the Central Valley to El Dorado County, he currently controls thousands of acres in various stages of development. He has recently completed several mixed-use projects in San Francisco
